Israel's tunnel blast in Lebanon registered as an earthquake
Israel detonated more than 1,100 tons of explosives beneath the Ali al-Taher ridge in southern Lebanon on Thursday, destroying about two kilometres of tunnels it says Hezbollah built. The blast was powerful enough to register as a magnitude 4.1 earthquake, according to the US Geological Survey, and was felt across the Nabatieh region. No casualties were reported, and Israel-Lebanon talks resume in Rome next week.
