UK inflation falls to 2.6% in June. Lowest in 15 months.

UK inflation dropped more than expected in June, reaching 2.6%. The Office for National Statistics (ONS) said falling motor fuel prices, especially diesel, helped ease the rate. The drop provides some relief for new Prime Minister Andy Burnham, who has prioritised tackling the cost of living.
