UK households pay high electricity prices for three main reasons

Energy costs for British households remained higher than those in numerous other European countries, placing fourth highest in the latter half of last year. The primary reason for this is that the price of electricity is frequently determined by the expense of wholesale gas, which has increased due to conflicts in Iran and Ukraine.
