UK Government drops AI copyright opt-out plan.

The UK creative sector gained more control over how AI models use their work, following significant opposition. On Wednesday, Technology Secretary Liz Kendall confirmed the government no longer supports its previous plan for AI companies to use copyrighted works with an opt-out. This change comes after major backlash, with Sir Elton John and Dua Lipa named among the critics.
