UK faces heightened threats from Russia, Iran and terrorism, MI5 warns
MI5 Director General Ken McCallum told lawmakers that hostile state activity is rising sharply, pointing to Iran-linked plots, Wagner Group actions, and Chinese espionage. He said investigations into foreign interference are up 35%, with several operations disrupted in recent months.
