UK expects wetter, warmer autumn with flood risk from El Niño
The Met Office forecasts a wetter and warmer-than-normal autumn for the UK, driven by a strengthening El Niño climate phenomenon. The El Niño climate phenomenon could bring an increased chance of flooding, especially from November, even as most of England remains in drought.
