UK businesses say crime is now stopping growth

Crime is creating a serious barrier to growth and investment for businesses across the UK, say leaders. The British Chambers of Commerce (BCC), representing tens of thousands of firms, found two-fifths of companies experienced some form of crime last year. Their survey of 1,411 firms also revealed 21% faced cyber-attacks and a fifth dealt with fraud or scams.
