UK and allies launch project for low-cost missiles

Britain has partnered with Germany, France, Italy, and Poland to manufacture autonomous drones and surface-to-air weaponry. Defence Minister Luke Pollard confirmed a multimillion-pound commitment from each nation to create affordable defensive systems. The group aims to deliver their initial collaboration by next year, drawing inspiration from Ukrainian tactics. This agreement follows unsuccessful negotiations regarding British access to a larger European Union military fund.
