UK adults post less on social media now
Many Britons are becoming less active on social media platforms, choosing to post, share, or comment less often due to various concerns. Ofcom data reveals only 49% of UK adult social media users now actively post, a significant drop from 61% recorded in 2024. This shift is driven by worries over mental health, the unearthing of old posts, and a general increase in passive content consumption.
