Two killed and several hurt in Ukrainian missile strike on Belgorod near the Russian‑Ukraine border
A Ukrainian missile strike on the Russian border city of Belgorod killed two people and wounded others, local governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on Friday. The victims were working on infrastructure repairs, while at least three others were taken to hospital, one in a serious condition. The attack also damaged energy facilities, cutting power, heating and water supplies, and impacted nearby apartment buildings. Residents reported explosions and activation of air defences.
