Mercedes-Benz must repay £2,100 deposit for unresolved car faults
Drivers could receive money back when serious faults aren't dealt with properly. Mercedes-Benz Financial Services refused return requests in February and May 2025 after software updates, but the Financial Ombudsman Service later ruled the customer should receive compensation. It ordered repayment of half the monthly instalments, the £2,100 deposit, £475.20 in costs and £500 for distress.
