Sainsbury's tech shake-up: 300 jobs at risk, new Argos board

Sainsbury's tech shake-up: 300 jobs at risk, new Argos board

Around 300 jobs are at risk at Sainsbury's across its supermarket and Argos businesses as part of changes to its technology, data and head office operations. Most cuts affect the technology division, being restructured into one team for Argos and two for Sainsbury's. The firm also plans four new regional director roles for convenience shops and a separate Argos leadership board, led by managing director Graham Biggart. Delivery driver jobs are not affected.
