Millions of people across Britain could face hardship in retirement because they are not saving enough. An interim report from the Pensions Commission, revived by Keir Starmer, found 15 million are currently undersaving, a figure that could reach 19 million without action. The report also highlighted that women have roughly half the private pension wealth of men.
