Meta charges monthly fee for smart glasses feature
Individuals who possess Meta's AI-enabled eyewear are now subject to a recurring monthly charge for complete use of "Conversation Focus," a function that was previously provided without cost. A payment of $19.99 per month will be required for users to access it beyond three hours, a charge Meta has indicated is intended for frequent users. Other built-in AI features, like live translation, will remain free without a subscription.
