Three people, including two Britons, were killed when a light aircraft crashed in the Swiss Alps on Tuesday. The Cirrus SR22T departed from Sion airport and crashed into a mountain slope approximately 10 minutes after takeoff. The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office is supporting the families of the two British nationals.
