TSMC has discussed raising chip prices by up to 10% for 2027
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co (TSMC) has talked with clients about increasing prices by as much as 10% for 2027. The price increase is to help cover the rising costs of materials, equipment, and power needed for chip production. The company, which makes chips for Nvidia and Apple, expects strong demand for chips and data centres to continue into 2027.
