Trump says Khamenei's son unacceptable for Iran
US President Donald Trump stated he wants to choose Iran's new leader after Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's assassination. Trump specified he would select "a GREAT AND ACCEPTABLE leader" only after Iran's "unconditional surrender" and called Mojtaba Khamenei, 56, "unacceptable." Iran's Mehr News Agency reported the nation will not allow interference in its affairs. The Assembly of Experts, a group of about 88 senior clerics, is meeting virtually to choose the leader.
