Trump says Iran shot down US helicopter

President Trump says Iran shot down a US Apache helicopter over the Strait of Hormuz on Monday night, and America "must, of necessity, respond to this attack." He announced this on social media, despite previously claiming a peace deal with Iran was close. The two US pilots involved in the incident are safe and uninjured.
