Wikimedia Commons
RAF jets had two close encounters with unidentified drones over the North Sea earlier this year, The Telegraph reports, citing incident logs. The sightings, near Norfolk and Humberside, happened days apart during training and refuelling exercises, at altitudes above 10,000ft. Police were informed and several investigations are now under way. The Ministry of Defence said it remains vigilant but would not comment on specific threats.
