Trump orders Navy to shoot mine-laying boats

President Trump escalated the Iran conflict last week by ordering the US Navy to "shoot and kill" any boats laying mines in the Strait of Hormuz. Posting on Truth Social on Thursday, he said "there is to be no hesitation" and tripled minesweeper activity in the waterway. UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer told Sky News this weekend that Britons would likely have to change their habits even if Hormuz reopened tomorrow.
