Trump Claims US Sank 9 Iranian Warships - Military Confirms One
President Trump posted on Truth Social that US forces "destroyed and sunk 9 Iranian naval ships, some of them relatively large and important," vowing to target the rest. However, CENTCOM independently confirmed only one vessel - a Jamaran-class corvette sunk at Chah Bahar pier in the Gulf of Oman. Satellite imagery confirmed smoke rising from the naval base.
