US President Donald Trump told Fox News on Sunday that 48 Iranian leaders had been eliminated in the joint US-Israel operation against Iran, adding the campaign was moving "rapidly" and was "ahead of schedule." He separately told CNBC he was not concerned about oil prices or disruption to the Strait of Hormuz. The figure of 48 is Trump's own stated number and has not been independently verified by the US military or any third-party source.
