Trump calls the CIA director's unannounced trip to Moscow a semi-routine visit

The US government never officially announced the trip, but reporters noticed after flight trackers spotted an official jet. Speaking on the radio, the president rejected rumours about Russian escalation and said his team is trying to end the war in Ukraine. The Kremlin confirmed that John Ratcliffe is in the country, adding that Vladimir Putin knew about it but did not meet him.
