Trump agrees to two-week ceasefire with Iran if Strait of Hormuz reopens
Donald Trump has agreed to 'suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks,' writing on Truth Social that the ceasefire is conditional on Iran agreeing to the 'complete, immediate, and safe opening of the Strait of Hormuz.' Trump said the US had 'already met and exceeded all military objectives' and was 'very far along' with an agreement on long-term peace with Iran and the wider Middle East.
