Treasury Secretary and Fed Chair summon bank CEOs over Anthropic Mythos cyber threat

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Jerome Powell summoned the CEOs of Citigroup, Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo and Goldman Sachs to an emergency meeting in Washington to warn of systemic cyber risks posed by Anthropic's new AI model, Mythos. The model can autonomously find and exploit software vulnerabilities across every major operating system and web browser. Anthropic is limiting access to around 40 companies to defend critical infrastructure.
