Train drivers may strike over lack of toilet breaks

Train drivers are considering strike action due to inadequate toilet facilities and breaks, a year after the rail regulator instructed operators to make improvements. The train drivers' union Aslef stated companies have not supplied sufficient lavatories or shortened maximum driving periods. Many drivers are compelled to use bottles or defecate in their cabs, raising health and safety worries.
