Tories ask HMRC to investigate Farage's £5m gift for tax

The Conservative Party has requested HMRC examine if Nigel Farage has a tax liability for a £5 million gift he accepted from crypto billionaire Christopher Harborne in 2024. Farage reportedly told senior Reform UK figures he would need £5 million to cover lost earnings if he stood for parliament.
