Top chefs want VAT cut to 10% for pubs
Top UK chefs are saying pubs and restaurants need a VAT cut to 10% because things are really tough for them right now. Four famous chefs, including Tom Kerridge and Yotam Ottolenghi, told BBC Newsnight the industry is struggling badly. They want the tax rate lowered to 10% to help businesses stay afloat and make money.
