Why VAT matters to pubs

VAT, or Value Added Tax, is added to most goods and services we buy, including food and drinks in pubs. Currently at 20%, it's a significant cost for businesses. Pubs want it cut to 10% because it would make their products cheaper, potentially attracting more customers and boosting their profits.
