BMA cancels 5-day walkout for new pay, training offer.

The five-day walkout due to start on Monday has been cancelled, avoiding more disruption for patients. The British Medical Association (BMA) said a new, last-minute government offer includes faster pay rises next year and extra training places. Health Secretary James Murray confirmed no extra money is available this year, but the BMA will put the deal to members.
