Tim Curry, Rocky Horror and Pennywise star, dies aged 80

The versatile British performer, famous for physically transforming roles like Dr Frank-N-Furter and Pennywise, passed away at his residence in Los Angeles. Curry earned a drama degree in 1968 and had a successful stage career, including original West End Hair and Broadway's Amadeus and Spamalot. After a 2012 stroke affecting his mobility and memory, he released his memoir Vagabond in 2025.
