Texas residents push to recall officials over data centers

Residents in Temple, Texas, are gathering signatures to simplify the process of removing local officials who approved data center projects. Temple Stands Together was established after city leaders failed to address worries regarding water consumption, air pollution, and energy expenses. The group must secure approximately 3,000 validated signatures by the end of July for the suggested amendments to appear on the November ballot.
