Tesla Renames Full Self-Driving System in Europe

Tesla has renamed its advanced driver system in Europe to Tesla Assisted Driving after pressure from Germany's transport ministry. The software was previously marketed as Full Self-Driving even though drivers must stay alert and take over when needed. Minister Steffen Bilger said the old name was misleading and will now push for wider European approval. Elon Musk thanked him as an EU-wide vote nears soon.
