Tesla recalls nearly 3 million cars in China over door safety

China's biggest car recall this year affects Tesla's Model 3, Y, X, and S vehicles. Chinese authorities said on Friday that door handles could trap people inside during an electrical failure. Tesla will fix the issue with software updates, as China prepares to ban hidden door handles from 2027.
