Tesco recalls Bresaola for Listeria bacteria risk
Eating some meat from Tesco could lead to a very serious illness, with symptoms like high temperature or muscle pain, and potentially meningitis in rare instances. Tesco has urgently recalled its British Bresaola product after the UK Food Standards Agency found it might contain Listeria monocytogenes bacteria. The aged, air-dried beef packet is sold for £4.50 and carries a use-by date of June 10 2026.
