Ten convicted in France for Macron cyberbullying.
Ten individuals have been convicted in Paris for online harassment targeting Brigitte Macron. The case involved false claims about the French First Lady's gender and malicious comments regarding her age difference with President Macron. Eight men and two women, aged 41 to 65, received sentences. Penalties ranged from cyberbullying awareness courses to suspended prison sentences of up to eight months. Delphine Jegousse, who disseminated conspiracy theories online, received a six-month sentence. The court heard the posts were viewed thousands of times.
