Heathrow profit falls as passenger total hits record

Air travellers face a busier airport as demand keeps running ahead of current space, with Heathrow saying growth is expected again this year. Heathrow reported its 2025 results, showing 84.5 million passengers used the airport while profit dropped more than 37 per cent to £575 million. Revenue reached £3.6 billion, and the airport said it is operating close to full capacity.
