UK, France agree £662m deal to stop Channel boats

Stopping illegal migrants from crossing the English Channel is the goal of a new three-year agreement. The UK and France have made a £662 million deal, which Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood is expected to sign on Thursday. It's set to deploy nearly 1,100 officers in northern France, with £100 million of funding conditional on success after one year.
