Met Office warns UK of thunderstorms, 1,530 lose power.

Parts of the UK may see power cuts, flooding, and difficult driving conditions due to thunderstorms. The Met Office announced a yellow weather alert for Wales, effective from 3pm to 11:59pm on Wednesday, and for various English regions until 4am on Thursday. This follows a Welsh heatwave, with more than 1,500 customers losing power earlier on Wednesday.
