United's losses halved despite £22m manager sacking
The club's pre-tax losses were halved, totaling £18m across the first three quarters of the year. This was achieved despite a £22m cost incurred from dismissing former manager Ruben Amorim in January. Better on-pitch results and cost-cutting efforts, including a £19m reduction in operating expenses, contributed to this.
