Sydney Sweeney appeared to hit back at athletes criticising her advert for the sports betting app Novig, posting ESPN Body Issue covers of naked sportspeople including Serena Williams and Rob Gronkowski. British sprinter Amy Hunt was among those who condemned it, telling Sweeney that women in sport are "muscles, hard work, sweat, blood, tears". The ad has been watched over 33 million times.
