SWISS plane makes rapid descent, lands in Belgium

Passengers on a SWISS flight from London Heathrow to Zurich faced an unscheduled landing in Belgium after an aerial emergency was declared. The crew of flight LX325, an Airbus A320neo, transmitted a Squawk 7700 code over Belgian airspace on Monday evening, leading to a rapid descent and diversion. The aircraft landed on runway 07L at Brussels Airport at 19:26 local time and was met by firetrucks.
