Suspected Iranian drones hit northern Iraq near US consulate
The war is spilling onto Iraqi soil, with Iran appearing to test Trump's fragile pause on US strikes. Kurdish police said at least four suspected Iranian drones struck near Erbil on Monday, close to the US Consulate, sending US warplanes overhead. Iranian state media said the Khor Mor gas field, which powers much of Iraqi Kurdistan, was also hit, though that remains unconfirmed.
