Suicide car bomb kills 17 near Pakistan police HQ

An explosives-laden vehicle struck a mosque in north-western Pakistan, killing 17 people, including five police officers. Near police headquarters in the Kohat district, security forces and attackers are presently engaged in an ongoing firefight. Asif Ali Zardari, Pakistan's President, conveyed his hopes for the rapid recovery of those who were injured.
