Australian prime minister Anthony Albanese has told Andy Burnham he wants to change visa rules for British backpackers. Under the post-Brexit trade deal, Britons no longer have to do three months of regional farm work, and numbers have more than doubled to 87,000 a year. Albanese says crowds in Sydney and Bondi are distorting local jobs. Downing Street made no firm commitments after the talks.
