State Pension Rises 4.8% Under the Triple Lock

Pensioners across the UK are seeing higher weekly payments from this month. The new full State Pension climbed to £241.30 a week, roughly £12,548 a year, an annual rise of £575. Those on the basic State Pension, for people who retired before April 2016, now receive £184.90 a week.
