Starmer Refuses Trump Warship Demand as Oil Prices Hit 105 Dollars

A fifth of global oil supplies pass through the Strait of Hormuz, now effectively closed, causing prices to rise and fears of recession. Prime Minister Keir Starmer today refused Donald Trump's request for British warships in the Strait of Hormuz. Mr Trump had warned during a call that he'd "remember" a negative response.
