Starmer Pushes Back After Blair Criticises Labour

Labour's weak poll ratings have deepened arguments over the party's direction and leadership. Keir Starmer answered criticism from former Labour leader Tony Blair on Thursday, saying his government had improved ties with the European Union, steadied the economy and cut National Health Service waiting lists. Andy Burnham and Wes Streeting also rejected Blair's argument, while Starmer refused calls to quit.
