Starmer confirms UK avoids Iran conflict, resists US pressure

Britain will prioritise its own national interests by staying out of the Iran conflict, Keir Starmer confirmed. He has resisted US President Donald Trump’s pressure to change his stance, particularly since the conflict started over three weeks ago. Mr Starmer believes America and Israel’s attacks lacked a lawful basis and a viable plan.
