UK heatwave brings 35C highs, continues into next week
Britain is enduring another day of 35C temperatures, with the heatwave expected to last until late next week. On Thursday, the UK recorded its eighth day above 34C this year, breaking the previous record set in 1976 and 2020. Amber and yellow heat health warnings from the UK Health Security Agency are in place across much of England until Sunday evening.
